Du’a From The Holy Quran (surah Al -Fatiha)

The Quran is the guidance for all mankind. Allah Almighty sent it down so that people can have a way of living. As it is the Book of Allah Almighty, it has great significance in all its sections, from beginning to end, word to sentence, story to ruling, and much more. In continuation of this, Quranic Du’a (supplication) plays a very important role in our lives because it is the revelation of Allah Almighty. Quranic Du’a is generally very short, simple, and easy to memorize, but its meaning and impact are tremendous. In fact, the general Du’a (supplication) of Islam is also very important, but if it is a Du’a from the Qur’an, then it is even more special.

I have already written a blog post about the importance of Du’a in Islam. If you wish to read it, please click here.

In this Quranic Du’a section, I will provide as many Du’as as possible from the Holy Quran. You will see the Du’as in a section from the Surah (chapter) names. Today, I will provide you with Du’as from Surah Al-Fatiha, though Surah Al-Fatiha itself a Du’a. Inshallah, (If Allah wills) I will do this for every Surah of the Holy Quran if there are Du’as in each Surah. Please pray for me to the Almighty Allah.

As always I seek refuge in Allah Almighty from all kinds of harm and pray that He makes my work easy. I also pray that He considers this effort a means of salvation for us in this world and the hereafter. Whatever is good in my writing is entirely a blessing from Allah Almighty, and any faults are due to Satan (Devil) and my own lack of knowledge. JazakAllah. (Thank you).

Surah Al -fatiha, 1:1-7

English Translation

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the worlds. The Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Master of the Day of Judgment. You alone we worship, and You alone we ask for help. Guide us on the Straight Path. The path of those who have received Your grace; not the path of those who have brought down wrath upon themselves, nor of those who have gone astray.
