Du’a From The Holy Quran (Surah Al-Ahqaf)

The Quran is the guidance for all mankind. Allah Almighty sent it down so that people can have a way of living. As it is the Book of Allah Almighty, it has great significance in all its sections, from beginning to end, word to sentence, story to ruling, and much more. In continuation of this, Quranic Du’a (supplication) plays a very important role in our lives because it is the revelation of Allah Almighty. Quranic Du’a is generally very short, simple, and easy to memorize, but its meaning and impact are tremendous. In fact, the general Du’a (supplication) of Islam is also very important, but if it is a Du’a from the Qur’an, then it is even more special.

I have already written a blog post about the importance of Du’a in Islam. If you wish to read it, please click here.

In this Quranic Du’a section, I will provide as many Du’as as possible from the Holy Quran. You will see the Du’as in a section from the Surah (chapter) names. Today, I will provide you with Du’as from Surah Al-Ahqaf  Inshallah, (If Allah wills) I will do this for every Surah of the Holy Quran if there are Du’as in each Surah. Please pray for me to the Almighty Allah.

As always I seek refuge in Allah Almighty from all kinds of harm and pray that He makes my work easy. I also pray that He considers this effort a means of salvation for us in this world and the hereafter. Whatever is good in my writing is entirely a blessing from Allah Almighty, and any faults are due to Satan (Devil) and my own lack of knowledge. JazakAllah. (Thank you).

du'a from surah Al-Ahqaf

 Surah Al-Ahqaf, 46:15

 Rabbi awzi‘nī an ashkura ni‘mataka allatī an‘amta ‘alayya wa‘alā wālidayya wa-an a‘mala ṣāliḥan tarḍāhُ wa-ṣliḥ lī fī dhurriyyatī inni tubtu ilayka wa-innī min al-muslimīn

“My Lord, grant me that I offer gratitude for the favour You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents, and that I do righteous deeds that You like. And set righteousness, for my sake, in my progeny. Of course, I repent to you, and truly I am one of those who submit to You.”
