dua from Surah Al-A’raf, 7:23
Arabic
رَبَّنَا ظَلَمْنَا أَنفُسَنَا وَإِن لَّمْ تَغْفِرْ لَنَا وَتَرْحَمْنَا لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ
Transliteration
Rabbanaa dhalamnaa anfusanaa wa illam taghfir lanaa watarhamnaa lanakoonanna minal khaasireen
Translation
Our Lord, we have wronged ourselves, and if You do not forgive us and have mercy upon us, we will surely be among the losers.
dua from Surah Al-A’raf, 7:47
Arabic
رَبَّنَا لَا تَجْعَلْنَا مَعَ الْقَوْمِ الظَّالِمِينَ
Transliteration
“Rabbana la taj’alna ma’al qawmiz-zalimeen”
Translation
“Our Lord, do not place us with the wrongdoing people.”
dua from Surah Al-A’raf, 7:89
Arabic
وَسِعَ رَبُّنَا كُلَّ شَيْءٍ عِلْمًا ؕ عَلَي اللّٰهِ تَوَكَّلْنَا ؕ رَبَّنَا افْتَحْ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَ قَوْمِنَا بِالْحَقِّ وَاَنْتَ خَيْرُ الْفٰتِحِيْنَ
Transliteration
Wasi’a rabbuna kulla shay’in ilma, ‘ala allahi tawakkalna, rabbana iftah baynana wa bayna qawmina bil-haqqi wa anta khayrul-fatiheen.
Translation
Our Lord has encompassed everything with His knowledge. In Allah we place our trust. -Our Lord, decide between us and our people, with truth, and You are the best of all judges.
dua from Surah Al-A’raf, 7:126
Arabic
رَبَّنَا أَفْرِغْ عَلَيْنَا صَبْرًا وَتَوَفَّنَا مُسْلِمِينَ
Transliteration
Rabbanaa afrigh ‘alaynaa sabran wa tawaffanaa muslimeen
Translation
Our Lord, pour upon us patience and let us die as Muslims [in submission to You].
dua from Surah Al-A’raf, 7:151
Arabic
رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِيْ وَلِاَخِيْ وَاَدْخِلْنَا فِيْ رَحْمَتِكَ ۫ۖ وَاَنْتَ اَرْحَمُ الرّٰحِمِيْنَ
Transliteration
Rabbi ighfir li wa li-akhi wa adkhilna fi rahmatika wa anta arhamur rahimeen.
Translation
My Lord! Forgive me and my brother, and admit us into Your mercy. You are the most Merciful of all the merciful.
dua from Surah Al-A’raf, 7:155
Arabic
اَنْتَ وَلِيُّنَا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا وَارْحَمْنَا وَاَنْتَ خَيْرُ الْغٰفِرِيْنَ
Transliteration
Anta waliyuna faghfir lana warhamna wa anta khayrul ghafireen.
Translation
You are our protector, so forgive us, and have mercy on us, and You are the best among those who forgive.
dua from Surah Al-A’raf, 7:156
Arabic
وَاكْتُبْ لَنَا فِيْ هٰذِهِ الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَّفِي الْاٰخِرَةِ اِنَّا هُدْنَاۤ اِلَيْكَ
Transliteration
Waktub lana fi hadhihi dunya hasanatan wa fil akhirati inna hudna ilayk.
Translation
And write for us good in this world and in the Hereafter. We turn to You in repentance.
dua from Surah Al-A’raf, 7:189
Arabic
لَئِنْ اٰتَيْتَنَا صَالِحًا لَّنَكُوْنَنَّ مِنَ الشّٰكِرِيْنَ
Transliteration
La’in ataytana salihan lanakoonanna minash shakireen.
Translation
If You bless us with a perfect child, we shall be grateful.
