“Rabbana Waj’alna Muslimayni Laka” is a profound and meaningful dua from the Quran, deeply embedded in the hearts of Muslims worldwide. This supplication, found in Surah Al-Baqarah (2:128), is a heartfelt plea made by Prophet Ibrahim (A.S) and his son, Prophet Ismail (A.S), asking Allah to make them true Muslims—those who submit fully to His will—and to bless their progeny with the same unwavering faith. In essence, the dua, “Rabbana Waj’alna Muslimayni Laka,” serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of submission to Allah and the desire to pass on this commitment to future generations.
This dua encapsulates the essence of Islamic teachings: complete submission to the Creator and the continuity of this submission within one’s family and descendants. It is not just a supplication but a declaration of a Muslim’s ultimate goal—to live and die in a state of Islam, completely surrendered to the will of Allah. By invoking “Rabbana Waj’alna Muslimayni Laka…..,” we are reminded of the spiritual legacy of Prophet Ibrahim (A.S.), who laid the foundation for what it means to be a true Muslim.
As always I seek refuge in Allah Almighty from all kinds of harm and pray that He makes my work easy. I also pray that He considers this effort a means of salvation for us in this world and the hereafter. Whatever is good in my writing is entirely a blessing from Allah Almighty, and any faults are due to Satan (Devil) and my own lack of knowledge. JazakAllah. (Thank you).
