Dua for Wisdom and Protection

اللَّهُمَّ أَلْهِمْنِي رُشْدِي، وَأَعِذْنِي مِنْ شَرِّ نَفْسِي
Transliteration
Allāhumma alhimnī rushdī, wa-aʿidhnī min sharri nafsī
Translation
O Allah, inspire me with my guidance and protect me from the evil of my soul.
Reference: ‘Imran bin Husain (May Allah be pleased with them) reported:
The Prophet (ﷺ) taught my father two statements to recite in his Du’a. These are: “Allahumma al-himni rushdi, wa a’idhni min sharri nafsi (O Allah! Inspire in me guidance and deliver me from the evils within myself).”

In the pursuit of spiritual growth and righteous living, the supplication “Allahumma Alhimni Rushdi” holds a special place in the hearts of believers.
