A Powerful Dua for Guidance

رَبَّنَا أَتْمِمْ لَنَا نُورَنَا وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا إِنَّكَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
Transliteration
Rabbanaa atmim lanaa nooranaa waghfir lanaa innaka ‘alaa kulli shay’in qadeer
Translation
Our Lord, perfect for us our light and forgive us. Indeed, You are over all things competent.

One of the most beautiful and heartfelt duas we can recite is ‘Rabbana Atmim Lana Nurana.’ This supplication, asking Allah to complete our light and forgive us, is a reminder of how much we rely on His guidance and mercy. It’s not just a plea for spiritual illumination but also a request for forgiveness, showing our dependence on Allah’s power in every aspect of our lives. This is one of my the favourite Dua.
